From a couple of days, if I get info from IMDB for a movie, the rating returns empty, even when I try to update a movie which has rating from an older update from IMDB.

What could it be? Is this happening to anybody else?

Thanks

EDIT: I just found that also the plot is not udpated.

2nd that! Very important feature!

I have also been experiencing the no rating/votes issue for quite some time now (over a month). There has obviously been a change in IMDB XML which needs to be updated on the grabbers. I have used the "update Grabbers" function on both RC2 svn's and now RC3 and none of these updated scripts work.

Developers may wish to look at 'Salami's Movie Organizer': salami's movie organizer which needed to be updated recently to overcome this exact same issue.

The combination of SMO and Sam's Video Browser for VMC is an adequate solution for an MP like interface for browsing movies. Most importantly though, it grabs all relevant data into a MyMovies compatible .XML file including IMDB bookmark (located in separate file). The real beauty here is, if using separate directories for each move, these movie directories can be moved to any system and be automatically detected by Sam's Video Browser.

First priority would be fixing the imdb grabber script, most important however is developing an XML based solution, or even supporting SMO compatible XML. Imagine moving all your Movies to another MP system without having to redo the database!

Maybe MyFilms can incorporate a simple .XML based info gathering system?

Cheers and keep up the good work MP devs! MP is the only way to go in my opinion! :D
