    Is there anyway of fixing this problem, without installing a SVN. (and without waiting for RC3)
    Or,are SVN's safe to install?

    Sorry, there's no way to install it separately.

    Well, normally it should be rather save to install those SVNs, but you never know. save your current installation first.
