OK, MP used to be fast for me with 1.02. I run a multiseat setup, all thumbs local, DB and videos on my NAS.
From my HTPC, all rocks, but my laptop in the bedroom takes forever to scroll through basichome, but is fast on the regular menu. Scrolling through mp-tveries is also crazy slow, especially when moving the page up. Attached are some logs. I have no idea what to do, i've tried fresh installs for several builds now, and no luck.

I guess you are referring to the one listed specs for. Considering that this is using IGP, could you also state how much memory is assigned to it? In general, I think it should be at least 256 MB.

    Could you try w/debug options?

Go start -> MediaPortal -> MediaPortal Debug-Mode. Choose first option. MP will now start w/B#w and default plugins.

If this works fine, we have at least narrowed it down :)

    EDIT:
    2010-09-28 00:09:18.562022 [Info.][MPMain(1)]: Database - \\192.168.1.99\public\mpdb\Database
Where do you keep DB? Server? Are you by any chance using some sort of patch or something?

Well, this was fine, but it was in Blue3wide, and I couldn't even get into MP-TVseries to see how it was doing.

I think that was the point, at least we know the core of MP is fine.

Yes, the DB is on a NAS, along with my video files.

No wonder, as debug option disables MP TV-series and every other community plugins and skins:)

As your entire DB is on NAS, you should be able to test if music works as expected in DBview (ie. artist, albums).

If you are using WIFIand DB from NAS, I guess this would be the problem/limitation, but I got to admit that I am guessing here.... I find it strange to have DB @ NAS (which I now see you wrote in first post :))

Yeah, everything was quick, but my problem is when I'm using StreamedMP and MP-TVSeries.

Having the DB on a NAS is very normal and required (or something similar0 for a multiseat setup.

It's on a gigabit wired Cat 6 LAN.
