MP stops working (1 Viewer)

Can anyone tell me what is happening here..
This is the third time this is happening.
Suddenly when I power up my htpc I get this windows message (see picture) when I try to start MP.

In English it means something like:

The program could not start because the side by side configuration is wrong. You can find more information in the programs log file or by using the commandline tool sxstrace.exe

MediaPortal wont start and the only way I can get it to work again is to uninstall and reinstall it again.

Are there another way to fix this instead of uninstalling and reinstalling it again?? It take a long time.

AW: MP stops working

This looks like a side by side error to me which is known and can be caused by a windows update.
To fix this copy the mediaportal.exe.config to a safe place and delete it from MP folder (which usually is C:\Programme\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal). A new will be generated when you start MP next time. I hope this will help!

I tried but a new mediaportal.exe.config was not generated.

I can open MP now but I get a warning that says:

File not found: Dialogs, Version=1.2.1.0, Culture=neutral,
PublicKeyToken=null

And when I press ok MP shuts down again.

You can make a copy of the Configuration.exe.config file and then rename it to MediaPortal.exe.config, there the same file.

I will try that next time it happens.
Just made a reinstall today.

Thank you very much. I had the same problem after a power failure and your suggestion did the trick.
