The only way to "hide" the topbar is to disable the topbar plugin from within MP Setup > Plugins.

Here is a screenshot of the topbar that I'm referring to (in case of confusion):

i have been talking with dman, this is not a bug - you are refering to the wrong 'top bar'. MCE does not have a topbar, blue two does - i.e. move the mouse to the top of the screen in My Videos and you'll see the FF RW Play buttons etc

    Hmm.

Then how come when I disable the Topbar plugin, the 3 buttons at the top of the Home screen disappear? And when I go back and enable the plugin, they again appear? It certainly seems that the "Topbar" is (also) referring to the Home screen 3-button topbar. What do you think?

    1. Disable the Topbar plugin

    2. Open MP with mce skin, "topbar" gone

    topbar_mce_disable.jpg

    3. Open MP with BlueTwo skin, "topbar" gone

    4. Enable the Topbar plugin

    5. Open MP with BlueTwo skin, "topbar" appears

    6. Open MP with mce skin, "topbar" appears

The 'Auto-hide' feature refers to the 'non-home' screen top bar.

    Hi DMAN,

Based on your findings, then, I believe we're still dealing with a bug since the 'Auto-hide' feature DOES mess with the home screen top bar, right? If the 'Auto-hide' feature only refers to the 'non-home' screen top bar, then the screen shots above should always show the top bar whether this feature is selected or deselected...

Sorry, I just find this as a point of confusion.
