Last weekend I installed RC4 and it seemed to be working fine. However after a few days it lost the TV guide and wouldn't activate the TV - rebooting it seemed to solve the problem but overnight the same thing happened again. All the settings to point MP to my TVServer are right (they are both on the same pc)
I finally had enough and copied back an old disk image (acronis) with RC3 on which worked fine. After a few hours it picked up the EPG OTA, only overnight to lose it all again.
I know all my settings are right so why is MP not connecting to the TVServer any more?
My htpc has a static IP assigned to it from my router (DG834GT) so that's not changing.
It's damn annoying and knocking down the WAF atm as I've just recently scrapped all the other boxes under the TV (digiPVR / CD / DVD etc...) for just this one box.
I might even try a complete fresh install.
Help much appreciated with this.
