For me it seems to be something with my computer being on all the time, and when not used it goes into standby and the hibernation. If I restart the computer, the import from GUI works as it should.

Enable the MePo setting then to restart when resuming from standby, or take the time to solve the conflict that exists on your system, usually lack of proper C-mode chipset drivers, or BIOS update or some other conflict. If you really want to fix it, then use Driver Verifier to find the conflict:

But if you have never manually recovered from a bad startup lock by editing the registry from command line via the Install/Rescue CD or use the System Restore system (or other form of backup/restore), then I would strongly suggest to just use the 'restart' MediaPortal setting as you can instantly cripple your system.

Should TVSeries automatically recover after the computer has been put to sleep and scan for any new files?

I recently set my computer up to go to sleep when not in use, and now Tv-series is no longer adding new files that get downloaded. The system is set to automatically wake, download files, and then goes back to sleep a few times a day.

Moving Pictures is handling new downloads just fine.

    Hi,

Next time when you notice this try running manual import in GUI. If nothing happens, you probably have same problem than I have. On some systems the Windows wake up event is not always broadcasted and therefor TVSeries fails to initialize the importer after wake up. This can also be seen in logs as errors when running manual import.

I'm not sure if I remember correct but it might make a difference between automatic and manual wake up (one of these send the wake up event)

Any help on what is causing this?? Is there a fix?

I can't see the same error I get, did you run import manually in GUI after wake up? (the import progress bar should not appear, if it appears the import is working ok)

Also you should post all the logs...

which logs exactly are needed?? I just had a new file download, tried doing a manual import from the GUI, nothing happened, exited and these are the logs that resulted.
