Yes I meant TV server! Nothing is listed aside from the two default IP tuners... I'm re-installing the drivers and software from the original CD that worked on various other PCs.
Okay. Good idea to reinstall the drivers. Make sure to restart the TV service after doing that. It detects new tuners on startup, not while running.

I think ATI tuners are not fully supported because of this article: http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/1_MEDIAPORTAL_1/11_Preparing_Your_System/01_Supported_TV_Cards

[...]ATI TV Wonder support is unknown[...]
Ahhh, I see. No, that refers to their CableCARD tuner only. Your tuner should be fine... I hope. :)

So the tuner works A1 with the official software provided. So that confirms my BDA tweaked worked and the drivers are functional! Good news so far :)

So I flushed my MP tv server install completely, rebooted, re-installed and rebooted again... all tuners are detected correctly but scanning seems to be hanging (for ATSC reception at least). Ill let it run for a bit and get back to you.

As for BDA support, there's a that script I used which works greats from server 2k3 up to server 2k12! Id honestly think MP would win from hosting it on their wiki if thats possible! :)

Okay - well, that's progress. Please flick us the logs if there are problems.

Sorry, that is unlikely to happen. Distributing Microsoft's files without their permission is a big no-no. Anybody who does so does it at their own risk.

Hourray! I have picture on one of my client PCs!... but no audio :(

I'm wondering if this is a client or server problem... would that leave any traces in the logs?

From your MediaPortal config file (MediaPortal.xml) It looks like your TV codecs are not configured at all.
    Please review here:
    http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/1_...nfiguration/9_Codecs_and_Renderer/1_TV_Codecs

Don't use Microsoft DTV-DVD for audio; it won't work because your audio is AC3/Dolby-Digital. Due to licensing whohah, the MS codec doesn't do AC3/DD except in WMC.
Currently you haven't got any codecs that I'd recommend installed. I suggest you install the LAV codecs using the MP Extension installer (link on your desktop, or in the MP program folder in the start menu). The guide here is great:
    https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/threads/guide-perfect-playback-display-calibration.119610/

    Also covers audio.

hehe was thinking it could that after reading about AC3 licensing... Damn licences! Ill try the LAV codec and keep you posted :)[DOUBLEPOST=1384819394][/DOUBLEPOST]Awesome! Sound is now working A1 :)

I only have to tweak my antenna for optimal reception, find a good app to use a a remote control (I wish I could use my F710 controller like for steam!) and link my audio/video library.

Thank you sooooo much for the support! It made it a lot easier to setup MP TV server and client! (y)
