Hello everybody

I have a problem with the MP-TVSeries plugin. I installed MP 0.2.2. It worked okay.
I downloaded the MP-TVSeries plugin (MPTVSeries 1.1) and extracted the content to the MP folder.

Now, I can't start MediaPortal at all. When I try to access the plugin via MediaPortal Setup, i get a message that the plugin is incompatible with the current MediaPortal release

Any help?

EDIT: i just found out that this plugin doesn't work with the stable version. it would be kind a cool if something like this would be mentioned on the download page...

Try using RC1. I believe TV-Series only works with the SVN version of MP.

    Posted before your edit.

    thanks bobrap!

i did install RC1 and did exatcly as described in the readme file of the my tvseries plugin.

however, i can't use the plugin in MP. Apparently, my default skin (blue wide) doesn't have the necessary file. and if i copy the media folder and the xml file directly into the blue wide folder, the screen looks all messed up.

so i thought i try to use the skin that comes with the plugin (SpinSafe Revolve), but i can't even choose that skin...

damn shame, this was a very useful plugin...

Now when there are a new version with BlueTwo skinfiles out, you might not need to use the SpinSafe Revolve skin. But i just have to ask...did you have the complete SpinSafe revolve skin before you copyed and pasted the skinfiles included in the TVseries pack ?
In the tvseries pack there are only the needed skinfiles to make the TVSeries plugin to work, not the whole SpinSafe Revolve skin.

sorry for getting back to you this late

to answer your question: unless the SpinSafe revolve skin is included in the MediaPortal installer, i didn't have it. i just thought that it would be mentioned somewhere in a read me file of the plugin if additional files are necessary that are not included in MediaPortal installer...

i think it would be very useful if the download page would mention the requirements of a certain plugin
