I wanted to add an experience here that might help others. I use TVSeries a lot and have been following this issue ever since the import function stopped working. I've tried all the different (sometimes complicated) solutions with mixed success. This last time I went in an deleted everything associated with TVSeries; all the current and backup database files, and cleared the entire contents of the cache folder. When I opened TVSeries Configuration it looked like a clean install; I had to specify the import folders and reset import settings. It took a while because it had to rescan and import all of my series, but it was a perfect import! I have been using MP for over 20 years and I can't remember how many clean installs I've done. Over all those years there has always been a series or two that could not be resolved, maybe it was an obscure series, or the name had punctuation issues, etc. This is the first and only time I clicked START and never touched or adjusted anything, and had perfect results. FYI, I had the Series.TVDB file in each folder, but file architecture was all over the place, all episodes in the root, some in season folders, some sub sub folders, some even mixed. A special Thank You to Itfearme for keeping TVSeries alive.
