Hi

After installing “mediaportal-svn-09-20-2008--10-52-Rev20268” my computer resumes at once it enters standby.
When I press standby the Xp prepares to standby and all looks normal but when the power supply normally shots down my computer just resumes at once.

After resume my USB devise does not work.

I did not have that problem with v1.0 RC2 (no svn) so I have “removed” the SVN again but I still have the problem.
I have uninstalled MP completely and I still have the error

So I think that the SVN (power scheduler?) have made some changes in the computer but I don’t know where and what to do to remove the error.

I verily hope somebody can help me because I don’t know what to do.

Best regards
Nielsen

Forgot to mention that some times my computer hibernates instead of standby even though my power setting is standby.

In "Event viewer system" I get following message: "A request to suspend power was denied by TvService.exe"

I have attached an error log also.

Please someboby have a hint what to do?

Check in TVServer\plugins\powerscheduler, processes tab, delete whatever is there, then stop\restart TVService, re-add as necessary.

If that does not work, remove all scheduled\old recordings under the TVSchedules tab.

You should not have any power settings in the windows OS.

If none of the above works, Try dropping the SQL TVDatabase with MS Server management studio express, as there may be a entry stopping standby, unfortunately this means setting up TVServer again.

Sounds like you may not have configured the PowerScheduler Client plugin (MP config), or maybe one of the plugings in mediaportal keeping the mediaportal.exe or MP config.exe running, check taskmanager for this, as i had this happening with the MovingPictures plugin if a scan did not complete correctly (now working).
