When I attempt to access Moving Pictures I get the following message:

021209.png

Problem is, it sits there forever until you exit. Moving Pics never actually load.

It does this with every skin including the default. I've uninstalled Moving Pics and then re-installed, deleted the Moving Pics database, erased the caches, and re-installed the skins.

I've attached logs so hopefully something jumps out at someone.

Thanks in advance.

MovingPictures relies on CornerStone for a lot of tasks. And I see a ton of errors in your Configuration.log file on that.

The file in question being: "C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Plugins\windows\Cornerstone.dll"

Did you manually restore an old installation of MovingPictures, or did your upgrade not go correct perhaps?

Also you show screenshot of MediaPortal GUI, but there is no mediaportal.log file in your zip, so I can't see where exactly it fails, but perhaps somebody else can.

No, I didn't. It just stopped working out of the blue. No changes that I know of were made to my system.

The cornerstone logging messages are normal. That is just MediaPortal obsessively logging that the cornerstone.dll file is not a plugin.

You are reporting an issue in the GUI though and have provided log files from the config. You do not even have a current movingpictures.log file in your zip file. Can you please provide log files from when you have reproduced the error?

Also what happens when you try to enter the plugin from the config? And is there any reason you are running MediaPortal 1.1.7? I realize this is a 1.2 prerelease but you really should upgrade to 1.2.1 stable.

OK, I've figured it out. I was racking my brain trying to figure out what had "changed" to cause this. Then I realized I had installed the Trakt plugin. I un-installed Trakt and it works fine. When I re-installed Trakt it did the same thing.

    The config runs fine.

Yea, I'm aware that there are later releases. I just haven't had the time to upgrade with real life breathing over my shoulder. Anyways, I went ahead and updated to MP 1.2.1 including the latest Moving Pics, etc. But still, even now when I install the Trakt plugin the same thing is happening even with version 1.2.1. Remove Trakt and everything works fine.
