    Hi all.

I hope that someone more wise than me can offer some ideas about my strange problem. I've had a couple of incidents where MP won't start due to a "side-by-side" error. All I've been able to do is a clean re-install to get it working again.

Nothing obvious has happened to trigger it and I can only dump the logs (can't run the debigger as that crashes!).

Any ideas would be most welcome. Cheers, Dansta.

Have you uninstalled some system libraries or some other application that has removed some system DLLs? Side by Side error is result of some system libraries that are required being missing.

Thanks Tourettes. The Pc was left unattended for 3 days and nothing has been uninstalled recently. i discovered the signal booster had been accidentally turned off so i'll see if messing around with that replicates. as before a reinstall of MP did the trick.

    Cheers
