I have a HTPC which has both server and client on it and several (room) clients.

PowerScheduler++ does not allow the HTPC to go to sleep (actually hibernate as my motherboard doesn't like sleep) when they are connected.

In the TV Server logs it shows that it knows the clients are connected, true but NOT doing anything (other than, I assume, a ping).

PowerCfg.exe -requests shows that TV Server is refusing the hibernate (once being the away mode which I do not use the other being the hibernate).

Disconnect the clients from the network and the server shuts down as expected.

    So....

How do I stop PowerScheduler++ from taking ANY notice of the remote clients?

(I know I can configure PS++ to check network activity so I can override the shutdown if they ARE actively using the server.)

    Any assistance willingly accepted.

    Thank you.

No cross posting please (you posted the same issue in another thread already). As I told you there, this is the intended behaviour of PowerScheduler - the server must be up as long as any client is running. If your clients do nothing useful then you should shut them down or better let them sleep automatically after some minutes idle time. Then the server will go to sleep too.
