Sometimes it happens before starting video in full screen, sometimes it happens when stopping it. Sometimes both

The logs have situation where it happened in both starting and stopping. I can make a video of it happening if you'd like.

I have this black screen flash and it comes from Nivdia option (by default it's set to AUTO and i must use VIDEO to avoid these flash screen), i don't know if it's the same for you but take a while to figure out lol.

Just wondering if I should continue to use dshowhelper_v0084_part_DWM with 1.2.1 (to help with my dual-screen) or if there's a newer/better patch to use?

I'm getting the bad stuttering with 1.2.1 and dshowhelper_v0084_part_DWM now when starting LiveTV, that I was only getting before when enabling the display stats (I'm not doing that now).

It lasts for about 15-20 seconds when first starting TV. Doesn't happen again if I change channels or if I stop and restart TV.

EDIT: I think I've fixed this by changing the Provider on my cards from DVB-T to Generic. I can't recall exactly why I changed it, all I know is I read a post which made me think it might be helpful!

The 'part_DWM' versions can produce temporary black screens on start and stop - it's because of the DWM setup changes i.e. it's a side effect of calling the MS DWM control functions.

Try the 'no_DWM' versions and see if you get the black screen flashes

I will try 092 no DWM ASAP, thanks for responding Are there any downsides or upsides using one version over another? Or it's just "see what works better for you" choice?

(They are identical except for enabling the DWM mode change on start/stop in the 'part_DWM' version)

Unfortunately I spoke too soon and putting the Provider to Generic hasn't fixed the problem of severe stuttering when starting TV.

The attached logs are from where I loaded MP, started TV and left it running for a few seconds past where the stuttering had stopped.
