Before I went to bed I watched some stuff I downloaded from iPlayer with OnlineVideos, which was fine. My PC didn't go to sleep but I just got up and tried to play the same download (at 10:59) and when I skip forward the video goes very jerky or freezes for about 5-10 seconds, before sorting itself out and playing normally. I'm not sure I tried to skip forward before though.

EDIT: Seems this might have been an issue with Online Videos installing the LAV Filters. LAV Splitter wasn't installed properly, so I've reinstalled SAF6.03 and everything seems to be OK again now :)

I sent a message to chemelli about some consideration on MP evr new renderer, MP audio renderer and so on.
I paste the google translate for convenience. I hope that is understandable.

    "Good morning.

One starts with New Year's greetings to you and your team. Media Portal has now reached truly exceptional level and that there god preserve him for a long time.:)

Some little notes that maybe who knows maybe they are useful for Release 2.x
I will also write directly in the thread Owlsroost
MP1 EVR Presenter/dshowhelper community development - MediaPortal Forum

I recently changed a bit 'my configuration screens.

I have a PC deskop all practical purposes we say that two monitors connected. an LCD 17 "Asus that supports the frequencies 59.60 and 75 Hz and a plasma TV Panasonic 37" that supports the frequencies 50, 59 and 60 Hz video card is an ATI HD 5770, (before 3850 I had essentially identical dell'htpc from the point of view.). I have Windows Vista 32-bit.
until some time ago I was at in MP via remote control switch from the main screen lcd plasma to have everything as a desktop / 1. the functionality of the desktop display MP / 2 when I used the simple and reclocked evr defined by default I had never given much satisfaction because of stuttering. and perhaps even more than a tourettes had advised me to use MP only ever on the screen / 1.
I then tried to re-test with 1.2.1 and 1.2.2 and now with this feature is certainly more convenient and easier instantly with EVR renderer is experimental and works very well using MP Audio Renderer (MediaPortal Audio renderer - better video playback quality - MediaPortal Forum ) is reclocked. (Both the audio renderer are very useful for the 23.976 and 24 fps film material because not having the native refresh rate on the plasma film the best I could not see a lot of material in particular television series.)

said that the issue comes into play desktop that is a variable directly in my configuration, I make the case examples to clarify quickly:

    Example 1:

Desktop / 1 (Asus LCD) at 75 Hz
    Desktop / 2 (plasma) at 50 Hz

in this situation is that Aero is active or not everything is working correctly. absolutely perfect vision in both materials Pal Native Cinema is "accelerated" by MP audio renderer or reclocked.

    Example 2:

Desktop / 1 (Asus LCD) at 60 Hz
    Desktop / 2 (plasma) at 60 Hz

in this situation is that Aero is active or not everything is working correctly. absolutely perfect vision of the material is NTSC at 30 fps at 29,978 is "slightly corrected" by MP audio renderer or reclocked.

    Example 3:

Desktop / 1 (Asus LCD) at 75 Hz
    Desktop / 2 (plasma) at 60 Hz

Here begins some trouble. in this condition, that is both refreshing not entirely aligned with Aero active there is a certain stutterring which was not reported by the information window of the experimental MP evr renderer. although the same waveform in a sense highlights the stutterring.
but if you turn off all aero returned to work properly.

having said that I think would be interesting option which disables Aero when using Media Portal or at least until you have configured the desktop / 2 (of course you can disable it by configuring the connection directly from Windows). If it were possible, then recheck the experimental MP evr renderer handle the case and the three would be the ideal solution."

    Hi

Recently installed MP 1.2.2 and using it with dshowhelper v084_part_DWM I'm having quite a few instances of LiveTV going very jerky for a few minutes.

Logs attached from when it happened around 21:24 - 21:26. I checked the dpc latency and there wasn't any problem with that.
