Yes, v0056/57/58 all have the MP AudioRenderer interface enabled.

Just did a test with v0058; 75000 frames drawn, 0 framedrops! Working great (but for me not any better than 56 and 57)

    OK, thanks - that's a good result :)

I'm hoping that v0058 will help the people who are getting A/V sync issues with v0057.

To all the nVidia GT430 users - is anyone seeing occasional pauses/stutters that don't show up in the render stats screen ? It looks like something is dropping frames after the dshowhelper, and I don't remember seeing this with my old 9500GT....

    Tony

I've also been experiencing framedrops that don't appear on renderstats for some time... I'll try updating my drivers (or downgrading them)... I was wondering what the hell was responsible if framedrops didn't appear in stats... :)

Testing v58... After some seconds, maybe minutes of watching, image starts stuttering (as if fps were down 20 or less), but I can't see framedrops in stats.. Going back to stock 1.1.2 dll, no problems. Also I didn't see this behaviour with .v56.

    bye!

    PD: Always livetv...

I'm seeing the same behaviour with 24Hz media showing signs of stuttering or dropped frames that are not reflected in the graphs or stats.

Yes I had the same with v56. Nothing showing in the graphs, however you do notice judder in the *drawing of the graph itself* .

I went back to v45, issues gone. :)
    I'll test 58 now.

Ok with v58 I still see judder in the graph without actually seeing the lines showing it.

I am making the assumption that there is judder in the video because of that; just in case the graph is not updating exactly every frame anymore.

The other note is I'm noticing that this only happens with my SD video (scaling to 1080 with ffdshow).
With a 1080p video it is better (although subjectively v45 gives better results still - less variation in the lines).

might be a driver problem ? just wondering......

I suspect it may be - there are people complaining about video stuttering problems on the nVidia forums with the recent drivers - see MKV stutter with GTX 480 and newer drivers - NVIDIA Forums

    Tony

The nVidia forum discussion indicates the problem appeared after version 258.96 but I'm running 258.96 with my GT220 so not sure it's the same issue causing the stuttering.
