Short report.
First: i'm using MP audiorenderer and refreshrate changer.
Second: my hardware is not very powerful (ati hd 5450, p4 3200MHz), but versions 049 and 055 work without any problems (literally any!).
But...
Version 056 is also good but first played movie must be 25 FPS (50Hz refreshrate in that situation), any next file (23,976, 24 or 25 FPS) also plays smoothly.
When first played file is 23,976 or 24 FPS (24Hz tv refreshrate) everything is ok till stop. After stopping MP interface is very laggish and 25 FPS files played after that are very stuttery. Playing 23,976 or 24 FPS files continuously is fine in that situation.
Version 058 is similar in behavior to 056 for me.
:D

Yes, I also saw that but was not sure if dshowhelper is guilty one, now I'm not alone with that :)

v59 is v56 based, with that bug reported solved? I mean... changes in v57 and v58 are rolled back? If I remember well... v57 was meant to reduce A/V desync...

    Tony,

to let you play with different buffer numbers I've done a quick patch. It's definately fine with your current buffer numbers and puts the audio back into sync.

    Cheers

just wondering should we use v59 dll plus your "patched" mpaudiorenderer to test?

It's really just for Owlsroost as v59 will need to be updated to use the new functionality. The AudioRenderer contains the new functions, but none of the code will be used until Owlsroost adds in the Presenter code. You can apply the v59_Patched to dshowhelper which will give you what I think the code should be, but you may want to wait until Tony has a look and does it properly :).

You can - but you can't complain if I've missed a change somewhere in dshowhelper :D.
