I've been working with Windows 11 for a while now. Today, updates came through again, and I can no longer start MP1.
There seems to be a problem with TSReader.
TSReaderPlayer: Failed to open file:rtsp://HTPC:554/stream19.0 :0x80004005.

I have looked at your logs to see if there is anything obvious that might be causing the problem, but as usual the logs are unintelligible (to me).

All that I can suggest is that you uninstall the Windows updates and mark them as not to be installed (is that possible in Windows 11?). The problem is probably caused by an errant Microsoft update, which (hopefully) they will remedy in a few days/weeks. So wait a couple of weeks and then try installing those updates again. Sorry that I cannot be of more help. :(

    Thank you very much.
I first retrieved a backup and suspended the updates. Unfortunately, you can't turn them off completely under win11.

did you have the september update and did it work after that?
is your tvserver a clone of your htpc (equal sids (see PsGetSid - Sysinternals) are having more difficulty after the sept update)
I indeed only see that rtsp error so MP should start normally. Doublecheck your network (firewall, public/private network) settings if they are still ok.
Thats about as much as i can offer.

Btw, I did see a lot of stuff in the tswriter.log about bad signal. is that normal?
And can you preview the channels on the tvserver properly?

after the September update it works. My system has been running unchanged for about 1 year. The channels in the tvserver-preview are fine. However, I occasionally have block-forming with LiveTV, which can then be due to a bad signal.

    here is a small update:

it is probably not due to the Windows update. I ran a new transmitter scan and got the same result. MP no longer starts. Then I got the fuse back and everything works again. A simple reinstall of MP does not bring a solution. Maybe I should reinstall MP from scratch. However, I need a lot of time for this. Let's see when I can do that.
