Same here, except that I have upgraded the server, and 2 clients without issues. Just 2 others (Identical machines - Dell D600 Laptops) suffer the issue. Maybe an incompatibility with the particular video driver? These have Mobility Radion 9000 Video cards. Unable to play movies, or recorded shows on these two only..... Both of them required the MS DirectX updated, as well as the MS Visual C++ 2008. Though this happened also on the other clients. Uninstalling and reinstalling 1.0 does not fix the issue. Thanks managed to get them both working again (ver 1.0.0 that is) by uninstalling MS Visual C++ 2008...... Seems my Dell's dont like it for some reason. Anyone else there have the same issues? Thanks. Seems that I have a HP desktop that had the same issue - with a twist... Live TV/Recorded TV OK, just wont play and videos/files (tested eith divx files only). Downgraded Media Portal to V 1.0.0, still not working. Removed C++ 2008 Redist, and still not working. Only did a Standard Uninstall though. Will try a complete uninstall and let you all know
