MP2 Alpha 2 Start Service issue (1 Viewer)

MP2-Server now runs as service by default, yes.

But if you like to run it as "normal GUI", start it with "-c" as command line.

I'm having this same issue with it installing. Cannot start services, asking if to ensure I have sufficient privileges, which I do. Any suggestions? I do have MediaPortal1 installed, if that matters.

Do you have this problem while installing MP2?

Then please run the installer with the "MP2-Setup-Logging.bat" and post the created logfile here. Additionally attach the Server.log.

Do you have. NET 4.5.1 installed?

I had a problem with getting it to install with the same services permissions error

I cleared it by removing all the old mp2 folders from an earlier alpha install (c:\program files\team mediPortal\)

I also stopped mp1 and mpextended services but believe it was the old folder data

Looks like the issue was because I had NET 4.5 installed instead of 4.5.1 Thanks for your help.
