Hi, This is my first post....be gentle. I've been using MP1 for a couple of years as a single seat install under my TV. I've just built a PC in another room and would like to stream TV to it. Seeing that MP2 is now available I've gone for that. The PC is a clean install of Windows 10 Pro x64. I've installed MP2 and tried to follow the guide here: http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/User:robbo100/3_Alternate_MediaPortal_2/1_Getting_Started_Guides/1_Step_By_Step_Setup/4_Live_TV_Setup I've got MP extended installed on the MP1 server, created a new account etc.. I believe that the MP1 server is configured (it's already working perfectly on the single seat install). On the MP2 client end, I've done a standard client install. Deleted the NativeProvider plugin and installed the mpextended plugin (as per https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/threads/mp2-live-tv-setup-help.131562/) . Also done a regsvr32 "C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MP2-Client\Plugins\VideoPlayers\tsreader.ax" as admin and had the OK message back. I've set the server username + pw in MP2 interface. When I go into TV on MP2, it grabs the TV guide so I know it's connecting on some level, but I see the error '- no media item -' flash up with a (slightly) more detailed 'There is no player registered to play media item stream3.0'. I've hunted around the forums and found a suggestion to update the C++ redistributes, which I've done. I've attached what I think is the appropriate log. Can anyone suggest what I'm missing? I haven't installed any codecs since install, could that be it? On a more general note, good work on MP2.. it's looking excellent.
