Not at this stage, thanks.Anything you are looking for?
Great, thanks breese! Just out of curiosity: Where is your Data Directory (i.e. in particular the database file) located. On your Raid5 or on your SSD?6hrs 37 minutes and the scan is done.
This I think is a misunderstanding. When you add your media collection as a "Global Share", which you automatically do when you have a single seat installation, i.e. your MP2 Client is installed on the same computer as the MP2 Server, then the MP2 Server - NOT the MP2 Client - is responsible for the import. So exiting MP2 Client will definitely not stop the import process - no matter how long you wait. Just stopping the MP2 Server service will stop the import. As soon as you restart MP2 Server, it will continue the import exactly where it stopped.Started a rescan: while faster, if you quit the client it take about a minute before the System stops scanning (monitoring Resource Monitor). Then if you restart the client it picks right beck up where it left off. would be nice to have an Abort.
Have you tried setting the View Mode (in the audio section in the left hand menu) to "Small List" or any of the other list modes? This should make browsing much faster...Over all, reacts very slow to filters or just browsing
This only works in some skins - what skin are you using?Cannot get album covers to appear
Well, it did stop and in the log it stats it will recontinue on next startSo exiting MP2 Client will definitely not stop the import process - no matter how long you wait.
I tried every setting possible.. View Modes at album levels, Genre types, you name it. No Changesetting the View Mode
Then try to go to settings and change your Skin e.g. to "Titanium". Only then you can see album covers, etc. The blue skin is kind of a very basic skin just with the absolutely necessary information. Titanium is the beauty among the skinsAs for the skin, I am going thru TeamViewer (server/client in another part of the house), I get what looks to be a generic Blue Screen with basic functions lists on the left side.
So this is when you exit MP2 Client and leave the MP2 Server service running? That's strange... Can you remember whether you were asked if you want to add a Global Share or a Local Share? If so, what kind of Share did you choose?Well, it did stop and in the log it stats it will recontinue on next start
In your MP2 Client go to Settings => Appearance => Skin and choose "Change Skin" on the right hand side. You should see a list of available Skins like this:I have looked everywhere (even on the machine locally) and cannot locate any other skins....
