I Have a problem playing .mp4 files with AAC audio in mediaportal 1.2.2.0 The Audio and video get out of sync. Tried on 2 different pcs and i have the same result. I Know it isnt hardware related as it is an i7 cpu with 12 gigs of ram NVidia graphics. Also the file is playing fine in WMP, VLC, Zoom Player etc. Must be codec related. One more thing is that 1080p mkv files play fine in mediaportal, so i imagine that if a 15gig .mkv file plays ok, a 350mb .mp4 should play ok.

My Codec settings:

MPEG 2 Video Decoder: MPC-MPEG2
H264 Video Decoder: CoreAVC
MPEG/AC3 Audio: ffdshow Audio
AAC Audio Decoder: ffdshow Audio
Audio Renderer: Default Directsound Device

Any help whould be very appreciated

Its done inside the video codec settings, check format does not have dxva or cuda\cuvid enabled inside CoreAVC and FFDShow dxva if installed for mp4.

So Here is what solved my problem:

    - Formated My system , Reinstalled Win 7 64, Mediaportal 1.2.2.0
    - Updated to the latest NVidia Drivers
    - Installed Only CoreAVC
    - Left Codecs In Mediaportal Config As Is:
    MPEG 2 Video Decoder: MPC-MPEG2
    H264 Video Decoder: CoreAVC
    MPEG/AC3 Audio: MPC-MPA
    AAC Audio Decoder: MPC-MPA
    Audio Renderer: Default Directsound Device
    - Everything Plays Fine

Hope this helps anyone that has the same problem
