MPA/MPV decoder hijacks WMP DVD decoder (1 Viewer)

Using Mediaportal 2.0 with 12-05 SVN. Using WMP11. Windows XP post-SP2.

I uncheck Dscaler and MPA/MPV in Mediaportal installer, and STILL lose nVidia PureVideo decoder icon in system tray when I am watching a DVD. I get this icon in the systray and in "Advanced..." under DVD tab in WMP11 settings when Mediaportal is uninstalled.

Can someone help? I prefer the nVidia decoder.

I am using this tool:

and it tells me that the nVidia decoder is preffered, but this is not true.

Please help.

FYI, fixed it by unregisters MPA/MPV with this:
http://www.softella.com/dsfm/index.en.htm

These codecs must have been left over in the uninstall process for some reason.

BTW, I know preference is for MPV in general over in these forums, but I need subtitle support.
