Re: MPDisplay2 - MP Secondary Display

    @Wondermusic
I tried this in PureVisionHD folder (hope it was made for it) and the width seems to fit but the height needs to be lot larger.
    See screenshot

I hope you have not that much effort on customizing arround on this...

    Hey Katharsis,

By chance are you using Windows7 if so the problem may be the default font scaling in windows.
In Win7 I think the font scaling is set to 150% this will need to be 100% or it will effect the scaling function of MPDisplay2.

    Have a look here : https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/mediaportal-plugins-47/mptouch-mediaportal-touchscreen-plugin-80636/
On the first page on this thread this is discused

    Hope This Helps

    Cheers

    Hi sa_ddam213,

thank you for still thinking of my problem!

I checked your hint but scaling was already set at 100%.
But by desperated playing arround a little, i found out, that with a resolution of the Main screen at 1920x1080 and the Mimo USB @unchangeable 800x480 it will surprisingly fit:)
It seems there is a dependency with running different resolutions between the Mainscreen and the 2. (Touch)screen
The big problem now is, that i cant run at 1920x1080 because im still using a backprojecting TV with scary eyeskilling max of 800x600. But maybe this can help you a little bit in finding a solution for this. The strange thing is, that any other application runs well at the right size and fits at the 800x480 USB device. Only your vital plugin not - at least with my resolution combo.

I attched screenshots again to compare...

    Katharsis

    Hey Katharsis,

Can you start MP wait for MPDisplay to fully boot then close MP and send me the MPDisplay2.log file (in you MP log folder)

    Hey Katharsis,

It seems like MPDisplay2 is not detectiong you screen resolution, I think this is because the plugin gets the information from the DirectX device. I can fix this by getting the screen info from windows instead this will give better compatibility for USB/Ethernet screens.I will implement this in the next release(I may send you a test version as I cant replicate)

Re: MPDisplay2 - MP Secondary Display

i installed a new windows 7 64bit SP1 os last night. i keep getting an error about it not being supported, yet the software still runs

what part is not supported? the 64bit os or the SP1 for win7?

i bought an extra graphics card for this so now i use a 5450HD to power my main display and my onboard 4200HD powers the external touchscreen.

Re: MPDisplay2 - MP Secondary Display

    hi

i apologize i realised this isnt an mpdisplay2 error, its a MP error when entering the configuration.

i am trying win7 32bit, the 64bit took twice as long to load up my external display

    Hi Sa_ddam,

any chance of getting a compiled version against 1.2.0 Alpha or even a current svn?

as a dev member i always use current svn versions on my living room htpc.
Currently with 0.6.1 version i get a crash of MP when your plugin is loaded.

    thanks,

    Helmut
