mpeg or ts?? (1 Viewer)

One difference that I have come across, I some times want to record 'interactive' programmes (such as BBCi, 301,302) controlled by a manual schedule.

With mpeg recording format I just got a recorded file with 0 bytes, but with ts format I have full viewable recordings.

It doesn't matter, as analog channels do not carry any additional information - .ts is really only relevant for a DVB channel, which may contain additional data in the transport stream.
