HI, I am a newbee here, so I hope you can forgive me if I am asking something that has widely answered.

I am trying to configure MP on my PC. I can watch the AVI video files recorded with some digital photo cameras, but not the MPEG. What can I do? Thanks

Are they MPEG4 files? What applications do they play in outside of MediaPortal? As SiLenTYL mentioned, FFDShow lets you play pretty much any file type in Windows Media Player, and therefore in MP.

Finally, changing the video codecs I was able to made them work in MP. But thanks for everything. I am still learning.
