some mpeg4 but not all

Is there any reason why some mpeg4 files will play while others don't?
I have two files from the same source one will play using MP the other won't but both files seem ok when not using MP

I thought the same thing but both files are from nero recode?? It is two different files recoded through nero off the same disc.It shows up in my movies list so it recognises it but will only play one of the two files.Oh well will try to recode the files again and see what happens.
Thanks alot for the help though
