I have a small problem with my server start up time - after my server is on the WinXp Pro Desktop the cpu has about a 1 minute timeout and than he continues to work. He stops always during the MpExtended loading period.

I am not to 100% sure if its a MpExtend problem but all what i can see is that my cpu has a timeout and the MPExtended Icon Tray has a placeholder in the iconbar and after everything is loaded its visible.

Maybe someone can take a look to the logs

This seems to be indeed caused by the MPExtended service, but I've no clue why, and I also cannot reproduce it. For some reason setting up the WCF host takes almost 2 minutes, while this takes just a fraction of a second on my own system.

ok, its not a huge problem i think another process has a small conflict with MPExtended but finding this process will be a long story and as long as i am the only one it makes no sense to keep an eye on it

Any solution ? - I have a one-minute delay after each boot, while waiting for the system to respond now. (after installing MPExtended)

Could you try to execute this in an administrator command prompt and see if it resolves the problem?
    Code:
sc config "MPExtended Service" depend= TVService
(yes, there is a space between depend= and TVService).

Thank you, while I thought that was very likely to be the solution, it seems that the very same problem still exists.
(command was successful, rebooted, and still got a long delay)
Is there anything else you can think of ?
