    Does the c:\Program Files (x86)\MPExtended\Service\Plugins\Services\MPExtended.Services.UserSessionService.dll exist?

    Actually, the file MPExtended.Applications.ServiceConfigurator.exe is still running in Task Manager, even after I exit the GUI. If I kill the MPExtended.Applications.ServiceConfigurator.exe process in Task Manager, I can successfully run the GUI without the error. However, closing down the GUI does not close the MPExtended.Applications.ServiceConfigurator.exe process, therefore restarting the GUI results in the errors again.
