Updated to 3.0 this morning. First installed .net 4, then installed the new version op MPtagthat.

Now every time I try to open MPtagthat it loads, but when I get to see the main window I get a Windows error that MPtagthat needs to close.

    Details in error:
    EventType : clr20r3 P1 : mptagthat.exe P2 : 3.0.0.0 P3 : 4e764586
    P4 : mptagthat.core P5 : 3.0.0.0 P6 : 4e764583 P7 : 3ab P8 : 0
    P9 : system.indexoutofrangeexception

Anyway to solve this problem? Would really like to use MPtagthat. Started using it just a couple of days ago, version 2 didn't quite work for me (some functions did nothing, like identify from internet) hoped version 3 would do the trick.

    UPDATE:

I removed the config files etc. from documents and settings after uninstallation. Installed it again and it worked again, but only for a few seconds. The program frooze and I closed it. Restarting the program resulted in the same I had earlier (windows error, programs closes). Tried it on an other pc (also Windows XP sp3), same result.

Just to be sure, that not some missing string in the Dutch Language file is causing the ztroubles.
    Please rename or delete Language\strings_nl.xml.

Please open Config\MPTagThat.Core.MPTagThatSettings.xml in a Text Editor.
Search for the string "DebugLevel" and change the word "Debug" to "Trace" so that the line reads like this:
    Code:
    <Setting name="DebugLevel">Trace</Setting>

this should give me a bit more information.
Please post then the new log.

I'm on business trip tomorrow, but will look at it the day after tomorrow.

Thank you for looking into this quickly. The folderscan seems to be the problem indeed, the error appears as soon as I select a folder.

Program doesn't crash anymore. But the program shows no files in folders with more than 2 mp3 files in it (scan subfolders was ticked).

    Logs attached below.

PS. Thanks for all the effort. Will donate as soon as I find a job again.

    ok, new version here.
It should log now the file name, where it is failing.
I was able to read some folders, but others failed.

In the log you should see a message, with the filename that failed.
Please upload one of those files to a free file hoster and PM me the link. i would like to analyze the file.
