Hi doctor64,

that was the wrong way...

Erase the old folder and make a new one, called: "MPTouch"
In this folder you have to copy the MPTouch.xml and the "Skin" folder with all Skin files you need. If you go to the Link in my signature and you are in the Download Section, just choose one of the Skins and download them. After unpacking the file, you have the folder structure you need.

This files are located under:
C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\MPTouch


The dll- file (MPTouch3.dll) has to be copied to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\plugins\process

Delete all old files of MPTouch first before you move the new one into this folder.

Tomorrow could be a problem.

I'm finished with skin related changes, but there are some big issues with the new Version. I've tested it yesterday, but it doesn't matter on which Version of MP it was tested (1.1.0, 1.1.1, 1.1.2, 1.2.0) on two different machines, everywhere i get a "exception occurs". I told this allready to sa_ddam and posted it in the bugtracker. Some things regarding to the new bass.net Version was used to compile the dll.

sa_ddam is on it, but the deadline could be increased by some days. If you want to be up to date follow us on our bugtracker.

It 3:20am and I think I finally found the exception (hard to tell as it works fine on my DEV)
So maybe monday instead.

Hi all together,

MPTouch is dead!!!

sa_ddam will open a new Threat for MP Display 2 within the next days.
The Release Day for MPDisplay 2 will be the 19th of January 2011 in the evening (about 8:00 PM MEST). We will publish it on our Website and you will find it in the MP Extension Installer (don't forget to disable the "show only stable releases" button).

The Plugin is working great so far (testing on MP 1.1.0 and MP 1.2.0 Alpha), but we will do some testing before release, so please be a little more patient.
You will hopefully get a working Plugin without big issues.

Maybe that I'll get the other Skins at the same time online. This will be: X-Factor, PureVisionHD and Blue3

A smal hint to the NoTouch Skin... I've tried to implement Fanart/Backdrops to the Skin, but this is not working properly by now. I've added this feature to Mantis and will be available (I hope so) within the next versions. aMPed and StreamedMP will get the same feature, but I will wait with these two Skins until it's working without problems.
In a few days there will be BlackGlass available too.
