You know you're re-inventing the wheel, right?

MPTray was good because it was simple, if you want something more capable you should be looking at something like HIP, EventGhost, Girder or IR Server Suite.

One of the reasons I wrote IR Server Suite is exactly what you're doing right now.

But hey, if I had have thought like that then I wouldn't have started writing my own!

Good luck,

Maybe I just wanted to add a few functions to it? I need no full suite to do the things I want. And by writing and modifying it my self I feel more in control. My mptray launches media portal if it's not running but always launch a program I made by pressing the green button. It also launches the same program if you hit the record button.
All other stuff is controlled by my own program in a way that your program can't. It do what I want and nothing more.

The guy wanted mptray to launch somthing more so I quickly modified it for him. To bad that I can't fix it so it will work on Vista x64 because I don't run vista x64. Atleast I tried to help him.

Sorry for wanting to be nice.

I'm sorry for upsetting up, it wasn't my intention. I was just trying to make sure you realised that the problem had already been solved by others.

But as I said in my first post, if I had thought that way I wouldn't have written my own. So I wish you the best of luck.

    Cheers,

Yes guys, thank you in anyway!
I ALWAYS appreciate the (free) work from guys like you!
But I also know I can't always get all I want.

Unfortunately I'm not running MPtray anymore. But if someone will fix it for Vista x64 I'll be glad to test it.
