MS certified remote - pause, play, FF, RW not working (1 Viewer)

Hi everyone,

First time poste, long time lurker

I've finally got my IR transceiver installed after downloading rollup 2, unfortunately, some buttons on the remote control don't do anything. Does anyone know of a tool that will tell me what 'button number' each button represents? I've searched google, but I can't seem to find anything.

Just in case I'm not making any sense.....I want a tool that will tell me, whne I press 'Play', what the numerical button value is, so i can enter it into the MediaPortal setup.

Just go into MP's setup program and under Remotes, tick the box to enable the MCE remote. Better yet, download and install the MCE Replacement driver to get loads of cool additional functionality ie. assigning macros to buttons and loads more.
