Synopsis::

Having some problems trying to get the above DVB-T card to work in Mediaportal. In Graphedit it is referred to as "Twinhan USB2 DVB-T Receiver." However, I tried to copy the filter monikers and other details, as required by the guide for adding such cards, but the monikers did not seem to have the section beginning with "ven_" and ending in "rev00".

Also in the list of filters, this card appears only twice, as opposed to the Avermedia card used as an example in another thread which had numerous filters listed.

Try using 0.2RC4 as a lot of updates regarding card support, also recommend latest svn, and overwrite files and then run MediaPortal setup.

Came across your post and I had the same problem. After analysing the CaptureCard.xml file I came across a Twinhan USB2 one that had similar properties to the Digivox. I made some changes and got MP to detect the card and use it. I will grab my capturecard.xml file and post the section that relates to the Digivox driver shortly.

has anything happened in this area? I am facing the same challenge of trying to add support for the MSI Digi Vox USB DVB-T tuner. I would be very grateful for guidelines, being a newbie to MP.

Hi again,

I got it working by installing the proper Twinhan driver, the BDA driver for the 7045 device. But I also had to install the latest SVN build, the "stable patches" were not enough.

I have found the driver download site from msi.
They also have a BDA driver for MCE.
Maybe this one works?
I'll try.

Hi

I am using an MSI Digivox USB v2.0 DVB-T card. Can anyone please give me the solution to getting this card to work. There is no posting for the xml definitions and the card I am using simply will not work.

The twinhan drivers download but say no card detected when I try to install them.
The updated MSI BDA driver from opendrivers.com doesn't make any difference.

I cannot find any reference to the card in the xml file, if anyone does have the section for this and can post it that would be excellent.
