mtn.exe crashes.. will it be better soon ? (1 Viewer)

As we all know, mtn.exe (from MP 1.02) likes to crash instead of making thumbnails.
if there a fix ?
- will it be fixed in 1.1 ?

Gnome/Nautilus (like un Ubuntu) have very neat, well working solution - maybe programmers can use some source from there ?

There was already work done on this.
The following Mantis issue is already part of the 24/12 SVN release:

OK, just keep in mind that some mediaportal files were also changed for the total fix.
