can the plugin use a proxy? in US? ore give it a other way to play the Videos?

Yes if you read a few posts up marksteel mentions ultrasurf. I have never tried or heard of it but it sounds like worth checking out.

i have noticed that the full screen video player from this plugin and yahoo music videos plugin covers up the mediaportal windows like OSD and context menu.. you press f9 in full screen and the context menu window is shown but it's hidden below video)

is this fixable?

No active developers on this plugin so until someone picks it up no.

I think this is not possible with the plugin, because the "http://api.mtvnservices.com" api to query any content is used.
The mtv-api on the german site is not available.

I still get a black screen I tryed to install flash player and I tryed to execute the update file in system32. I live in canada does that matter.

Not sure if bieng located in Canada is a prob, but i do know that when the video is blocked because of this, you will get the msgs not available for your location or something like that instead of the clip.

Yo could also go to New Music Videos, Reality TV Shows, Celebrity News, Top Stories | MTV and see if you can play the clips in your browser, if it plays ok there it must be something with your system/plug.
