Multi Channel Decryption and Alphacrypt (1 Viewer)

Hello,

I am using MP (newest) with a Alphacrypt Classic and a DD Cine S2 + Octopus CI.

As far as I read this is a combination for decrypting multiple channels (MP FAQ says ACrypt can decrypt up to 14 Pids and DD-FAQ says it can decrypt 4 channels at once).

My test case:
Setting: Cam can decode up to 4 channels
1) starting MP
2) creating a recording for MTV hits
3) creating a recording for MTV Dance

=> after MTV Dance started the other channel stops recording.

Any suggestions?

Summary: each DD tuner can only decrypt one channel, so you must set the CAM limit in TV Server configuration to 1 for each tuner.

Thank you, now I know where the 4 Channel Limit in the product description comes from.

My initial thaughts where that the tuner doesnt matter because the CI-Filter is before the demuxer and theoretically might decrypt any channel up to cam-Limit.+

I'd be interested to know what they say. Theoretically it should be possible to decrypt more than one channel with each tuner even though the CAM is shared, however it may be complex to implement.
