just wondering what is possible in the following setup :
* Mediaportal client (Windows 7 Ultimate) with moving pictures and TV series.
* Mediaportal server (Windows 7 Pro)
* Windows 2008 r2, already running IIS, SQL enterprise 2008
The goal is to add, I presume, mpextended to the TV Server and then the Web client to the IIS server on W2k8, but from all the reading I'm not sure if this is possible to have the webclient on a different machine than the TV server?
Given the databases for the plug ins are on the client, I'm looking at the mpsync to get them copied to the server.
Can someone just advise on what gets installed where?
