multi-server .. how? (1 Viewer)

Ok, I have just installed rc1 onto Machine A. How do I "connect" the two running tvservers? I want Machine B to be the master. On Machine A, i installed and linked db to Machine B's settings, but in the servers tab on config it just shows Machine A. I can't see a button or contextmenuitem to click to 'Add' another server. Does it autodiscover? If so, what services are required and how could I also autodiscover tve3 (would be useful for my tve3 player plugin for meedio).

I don't know the status of this one, but there are a couple of threads about the feature being broken. I would have thought it was a pretty significant feature, but perhaps there aren't a lot of people running multiple servers.

Have a search about, I may be wrong and it has been fixed, I can't be sure.

Ignoring that, what are your reasons for having a single tuner card in two different servers? It would make more sense to me to have them both in one machine. Of course, you may have a very good reason for now doing that

I guess no one in the team uses multiple server setups, so as a result there might be few bugs in that area

I have no good reason - I'm just testing around.

I haven't hit a "bug" in this area, because I haven't even got there yet I am unable to figure out how to get both servers listed under the TV Servers node. It's like there's a button missing.

I have a TV server, and that has 3 TV cards.
Now i have bught a new PC for my TV.
In that PC there is a TV card, and i want to use that one allso.

So, that is why someone want to use 2 TV servers....
