When you are getting BSOD it is 99% sure that the reason is the HW or drivers of the DVB card. I would first check a driver update and if not available or helping then checking with other DVB software that does the same channel + CI combo trigger the same issue.

The drivers should be the latest ones. I also re-installed the drivers suspecting the same problem, but to no avail. I will check with Terratec own software if the problem persists there.

Thank you!

Hi, I have the same tv card, and had some issues as well. What did help for some issues is _not_ to use the latest driver 1.01.02.501, but the previous beta http://ftp.terratec.de/Receiver/Cinergy_C_PCI_HD/Update/History/Cinergy_C_PCI_HD_Drv_Setup_1.01.02.401_XP_Vista_7.exe

You could try it to see if it helps, gl!

Thank you for this hint! For some reason the previous beta did not install correctly on my machine, possibly due to the CI module, but I installed the previous drivers for the CI module and the system has been stable since then. Nevertheless I am not quite satisfied with the image quality at the moment, I get quite a lot of artifacts (without dropped frames) and small jitters every now and then also on the SD FTA channels now. I had artifacts on the HD channels with the latest drivers as well, but not on the SD channels, so this is something I still need to explore. Also I will try different codecs and settings to improve the image quality. But still, having a stable system is essential, so I'm really thankful for your help on the issue! :D
