Hi @all

I know that i can use only can use/attach one Card to the WinTV-Ci

The problem is the MP Configuration Program. It doesn't save my settings.
First I set in the WinTv-Ci register from the TV Server. When I exit and restart
the MP Configurator the register cardselection from the WinTV-Ci is empty or the
"Build in Webradio" was set.

Somtimes when I set the cardselction to the "right card" (I tested with both) I can call the CI-Menu whenn I return
to the cardselction every Card is double or tribble listened

Sorry....No Solution found. If the CI (with single card) is activated the channelswitching was very buggy
my tests with Windows are ended unsuccessfully no stable configuration possible...
I was going back to yaVDR (and put the Hauppage CI on the garbage where it should be)

:sorry:

Hi

What I did to make i stick to the correct card, was to disable all the other tuning cards, and make sure it was saved on the correct card before i enabeled anything else again. (I guess it's a bit flaky behaviour on the MP and CI part, and i cannot guarantee that it will be working for you. Esp. since my experience is that it's a bit trial and error to get it to work)
Make sure you do a restart of the PC after changing something.

One thing you need to be aware of to get the Hauppauge WinTV-CI to work stable, is to provide it with a 5V (1A) power in addition to the USB cable. I dont know how many hours I've spent, debugging and restarting my server to figure this one out. (The TV card "Froze" from time to time witout any logs to back up what's happened.)
The power connector's pinout on the WinTV-CI is DC - in center and DC + on the outside.
It is quite Power hungry, and the USB port doesen't seem to provide enough power to have it to work stable. (I guess it might vary from MB to MB)

:D

Thanks for that, is there any one more using WintTV-CI and got a clue how to configure it hard to have it stable.
I will try to inactive all cards and see if it works better.

im one foot from the trashcan!:sorry:
