Actually I hadn't looked at the hardware for so long I confused myself. It has an AGP slot for video but the two TV cards are PCIe x1 (Colossus and HVR-1850). USB is version 3 though (Or so device manager says).
I might just switch to external recorders since Cable up here is all encrypted digital now so tuners are redundant. I would just capture via firewire but the cableco's in Canada are total monopolies and they've disabled the firewire ports to force people to purchase their PVRs only. Storage was limited to 1 TB (internal 500 + external eSata 500) but recently they generously allowed the external drive of 2TB. Of course, if you purchase the equipment then cancel your service later the equipment ceases to function.
So instead I record their output using a card and MP so I can use my two NAS (13TB total usable) and not have everything unusable should I decide to dump cable. With the OnlineVideos plugin dumping cable is a definite possibility.
