Hello All, I am getting myself very confused with my multiple TV cards, could somebody shed some light on how I can achieve the following: TV Card 1 is connected to a cable STB (lets say for example Telewest). TV Card 2 is connected to a satellite STB (lets say for example Sky). Now both STB's have the same channels and the goal is to be able to provide PVR and the ability to watch one channel in one room and another in a different room (seamlessly). Both TV cards are just using the composite video in ports. I have configured a dual port blaster to change the channels on the STB's when selecting the channel in the MP EPG. If both STB's had the same channel numbers it would be very easy!!! alas STB Telewest has different channel numbers for the same channels then the Sky STB. The confusion is that witin the EPG I only want to show the channel once and dependant on the free card the correct channel number associated with the channel name is sent to the blaster. I thought utilising the channel combination feature would do this but it seems that it overwrites the channel number in the EPG with the latest channel number, for example I would add a channel number 101 for BBC One that is mapped to TV card 1, then I would add a channel number 100 for v_BBC One that is mapped to TV Card 2 (OK I know these channel numbers are actually the same on both providers but I am just trying to cite an example). I would then combine the channels but then the TV channel number is only shown as 100 with a name of BBC One so if my client is using TV Card 1 would it not blast the incorrect channel number? I hope I am making sense to somebody here....
