Hi,

I experience some EPG issues in my multiseat environment with the 1.2 Beta. On the main system with TV-Server installed all ist working fine. The following issues appear on other machines when using TV:

- Sometimes Channel list doesn't show the same program data as the Overview page. E.g. the channel list shows for SAT1 "The Mentalist" for current program (correct data), the TV Program Overview shows another series. Till now I couldn't find out, if the wrong series runs at another time on the same day or on another day.

- Channel List shows 100% progress for every channel. On the main system it shows the progress of the current shows correctly.

I don't expect this to be a skin issues due to wrong labels. If this would be the case it need to occur on the main system, too. So the main question for me is, what's the difference between accessing TV database at the main system and at another client via LAN?

Does anyone experience these issues, too?

Cheers,
Neelex

    Hi,

I think we need some screenshots to fully understand the problems.

FWIW, most of my TV usage is multiseat, and I don't see any inconsistencies.

    Hi,

here are 2 screenshots. On the "channel list" you can see all programs show 100% progress. On the main system (with TV server on it) the same skin shows correctly e.g. 45%, if 45% of the current program is played.

    Channel List-small.jpg

    EPG-small.jpg

If you compare both screenshots you can find the EPG data is not the same. Channel list shows correct data, EPG overview (2nd Screenshot) shows "something else". That issue is not there on the main system, too.

Hope that helps to explain. I cannot remember to have that in versions before 1.2 Beta ;)

    Thanks

    Any ideas?

    Hi,

    No idea at all.

I would suggest trying to reproduce this problem with the default skin.

I use multiseat TV all the time, and use the main EPG to schedule recordings and view channels. I have never seen a situation where the EPG on the client is not correct.

The date showing on your screenshots seems sensible, but always worth checking!

    Hi,

thanks for the hint with the date. And I feel a bit sheeping about making such a stupid thing to not check the date  Don't ask me why, but the date was set to 1 day in the future. If thinking about it's logical. EPG (request to database with the date the client has?) shows another data than the current program the server provides. So no chance for the MePo client to check what the progress is.

Thanks for bringing me to the right track :D

    Regards,
    Neelex
