HI All,

Have a question about recommended install for a given scenario.....

I have 2 machines in a Windows domain connected via gigabit ethernet.

Both machines have TV Tuners in them. The HTPC device has one tuner but very little HDD space. The other machine has lots of space and a twin tuner in it. The tuners cannot all be located in the same machine due to motherboard limitations.

Ultimately what I want to be able to do is watch TV/Record on any/all tuners in the system.

The non HTPC has MP1RC2 installed including TV Server. The HTPC is in the process of being built but I am unsure about what the best config is for this scenario.

Should I install the TV Server seperately on the HTPC and make it a slave of the existing machine and then install MP client seperately ?

Any tips ?
