Multishortcut plugin to execute programs from home menu! (2 Viewers)

I'm at work atm. When I'm home I will attach my MultiShortcut.xml.

If you have an old MultiShortcut.xml or a backup lying around just look at it and edit it the way you want it to work.

ok i found the xml. if i add the options myself it works. but not like i want. i dont want mp to use my remote commands when im in the other program. is it possible?

Because I read users complain, I just tested with a new fresh install, to be sure all is OK.
And, it seems plugin is working, for the name in home menu or, plugin menu (depending of your choice).
This is an example of xml generated by the plugin, when you configure it correctly in configuration.exe (please, take a look at screenshots posted before) :

Thanks to all who helped, despite following Framugs excellent instructions i could not get the multishortcut.xml to have any data in it and got the no name / program not found error. However manually editing the xml did the job for me and now it is working.

Try Eventghost. It works really well and has plugins for both, Mediaportal and DVBViewer.

thank you for that. i already use eventghost for starting mp with my remote. didt know that there is a mp-plugin for that great program. i will check it.

edit: for all others! you have to use the newest version. the "normal" version has no mp-plugin as far as i know.

I'm not aware of any but if you use MCE Remote there are only a few commands you need to edit (you can leave out the numbers and cursor buttons at least). It took me about five to ten minutes to configure it (just press the button on the remote and drag it from the Log part on the left side into the right macro).

Of course, there's no difference in calling another program and Eventghost doesn't make a difference too.

RC2 with latest SVN. followed instructions, i launch config and when i click on plugins i get this:

The version in download section is not the correct one. I just used the one on page 10 and it works.

I got the plugin to work and all, but when I exit the progam it has launched I see MP, but the windows taskbar is in focus instead of MP.

Any ideas?
