try the option "hide taskbar" in MP-config. maybe this could help.

It works as for not showing the taskbar, but MP is still not in focus. It seems to work if I press OK on my remote though (to focus MP).

This may be a silly question, so please bear with me:

I am desperate to be able to watch TV in Media Portal, and have never been able to get the analog portion of my WinTV work, either with MyTV 0.2 or TVServer.

So, I tried Sage, and it works beautifully (O.K., it works great, but the GUI is really, really messy and ugly

Now, what I am trying to do is, achieve a seamless way of starting Sage's TV from within Media Portal (it's be great if I can map it to the My TV menu.) I am hoping that when I stop watching TV in Sage, I would be able to return to Media Portal, also seamlessly.

I found this thread, but also see that there is My Programs.

Which one would work better for what I am trying to do, MultiShortcut, or My Programs?

Also, is there a way to use the Guide of Sage within Media Portal?

Is someone using Sage with MP already, and can you offer an opinion about how well the two work together, and if what I am trying to do is possible?

Tried it last night, and it works smoothly with MultiShortcut.

The only problem I have is, how do you close Sage with the remote when it is in Full Screen Mode?

I would recommend HIP http://www.byremote.com.au/HIP/

With this program you can for example assign Sage's exit button or even Alt-F4 to a button on your remote.

I am using this shortcut with one of the April08 SVNs. Is it possible to configure the shortcuts to appear under "my plugins" instead of the main menu? When i right click on one of my plugins in MP setup, the option to display under "My Plugins" is disabled. Is there an XML tag i can add to multishortcut.xml to enable this?

Assuming shortcut is notepad, enabling "Listed in My Plugins" do the job.

thats what i was originally trying to do, but it wouldnt swap from "listed in home" to "listed in my plugins". It IS working now, but i dont know why. It's either because i restarted the machine, or because ive since opened and closed the config pages for my plugins once, which i hadn't done before.

Hallo.

OK... now i have been working a long time to figure out how to make this excellent plugin work.
I have the same issue as several already described above. -no name-, the entrys that is entered in the configuration disappear and so on.
I have followed the wizzard provided by framug to the letter, but no luck.
Several have described a MultiShortcut.xml containing the details for the shortcut. Is this xml file supposed to be created somewhere ? and in that case where? In the skin, plugin folder or what ?
I suspect that the problem is that xml file is not being created as it should.

Please help.

EDIT:
Now i have found the XML file ( in the visualizations folder, quite strange place to put it i must say, but still).
And i think i have found the problem.
Every time i start MP the ID of the plugin changes and all information is erased... feels like a bug.
I using vista could that be the problem ?
