"Album View" by default is ordered by Album name, but if you go into the side menu you can change 'sort by' to 'artist'. (If that's what you are asking)

If you want to change it so that Album view is always sorted by artist rather than album name then you can change the settings for the album view in mp config.

If you do this then all of the various artist albums are together - this is what I want. However, the albums listed as various artists are in a random order. It would be much better if they were sorted by album name for each artist. Ie, its a secondary sort when you have more than one album by a given artist.[DOUBLEPOST=1356314136][/DOUBLEPOST]

yes, but now change the sort by to artist. All of your various artist albums will be together but not in name order. Also I would view in coverflow setting

Yes there is no secondary sort option, I prefer albums with sort by album artist

yes the settings you said about do indeed display as you said and there is no secondary sort option as stated above.
